Here is a podcast of the first draft of the script for my digital story. It is a little long, so guess I'll have some editing and cutting out to do. I also had some technical difficulties and made the file with the audio 3 times in a row. So it is not actually 18 minutes. The whole thing is only about 6 minutes. Oh well, it is a start.

Hi Misty,
I just wanted to say thank you for being so honest, genuine, and vulnerable in your digital story. I realize that it's hard to admit your insecurities and fears because admitting them means that they're real. At the same time I think that every single one of us in the program has our own insecurities and fears about becoming a teacher. Teaching is one of the most challenging, stretching, and draining career paths we could have chosen. Honestly, I feel like there is much to be feared. But at the same time I think it can be the most rewarding as well. It's amazing to see the potential that each and every one of our students has to be anything they want to be. Then again it's also amazing to see the potential we have as teachers. We have the opportunity to teach the future leaders of this world. As cheesy as that sounds, it's undeniable that teaching is an influential profession.
It's also encouraging to hear how you're letting God grow and change you despite the fears you have of doing so. I hope you realize the gifts that God has given you and that gain that confidence in yourself because I know you will be an amazing teacher :)
For some reason I can't see any visual after the otters..... :(
Hi Misty,
I am completely moved by your audio narrative. When I listen to your voice, I feel as if I am listening to my own journey - except I never had the aspiration to be a ballerina, hehe! The insecurities you have experienced as a student teacher and the words of encouragement you have heard from supervisors, cooperating teachers, and especially, the children remind me of my own experiences. Your words are so powerful and uplifting - how blessed your future students will be to have you as their teacher!
I'm excited to see the final product and to hear your message again. =)
