Sang-froid? Qu'est-ce que c'est?

Allow me to translate:
"Cold-blood? What is that?"

Word of the Day from Dictionary.com

sang-froid, also sangfroid \sang-FRWAH\, noun:
Freedom from agitation or excitement of mind; coolness in
trying circumstances; calmness.

Sang-froid is from the French; it literally means "cold blood"
(sang, "blood" + froid, "cold").

In my own words, I like to think of sang-froid as the peace that God gives me in my everyday life. A peace which transcends all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7

"My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

Blog with a purpose?

I'm not really sure what to post about. The only reason I have this account is so I can view the MexicoCity06GlobalUrbanTrek blog - http://mexicocity06gut.blogspot.com/. Had a pretty amazing summer with God and with my team in Mexico City - want to keep in touch, keep the memories and lessons alive, and keep on trekkin' (so to speak). Yep, that's pretty much it. We'll see what happens to my page, but I know I'll be checking into my team page for sure.
