Gift Giving: Do you prefer to shop or to wrap?

Seems like this question could be a personality test or something. I think it definitely says something about a person whether they prefer to shop for gifts or wrap them or even if a person likes to do both or would rather not do either.

The thought occured to me as I finally got to wrapping the gifts I bought for people. At which point I realized how much fun I was having getting creative with bows, ribbons, and wrapping paper getting, writing the receipient(s) name on the tag, and imaging how I will enjoy watching them receive my gift. On the other hand for me, the shopping is a much less fun process. Never knowing what to get, worrying about the cost, and other such things compound with the fact that I am really not a fan of shopping in general. So it was just funny to me to recognize how my sunny outlook on the gift-giving came in the wrapping process of the gifts rather than in the gift-buying proccess.

In this time of gift purchasing, preparing, and giving what part of the process do you or do you not look forward to and what does that say about your personality? Something interesting to think about.

I'm definitely all about the wrapping...unless making is an option, at which point I'm all about that.
